I want to develop an application that utilizes the YouTube API. The purpose of this app is to allow YouTube content creators to register within the application and provide their YouTube API key. Subsequently, the app will edit their videos based on the user's specified settings. I'm uncertain about the legality of using the YouTube API in this manner.
I found the following statement in the YouTube API terms of service:
'Permitted Actions:Selling or distributing devices that contain or run an API Client;'
However, this doesn't provide a clear answer for me. Should I contact YouTube for clarification?
